Rosie’s Mom: Forgotten Women of the First World War

A full generation before Rosie the Riveter, industrious women rolled up their sleeves and entered war industries where they had never been welcome before. In a program co-sponsored by AAUW Bennington and the VT Humanities Council, Carrie Brown recovers these women of an earlier generation through lively words and images. The illustrated lecture will take place on October 23 at 2 pm at the United Universalist Fellowship. Masks required.
